The Trident SS Woods are made with a new SS alloy that is not only significantly harder than 17-4, but also more elastic in nature. Using this material, we were able to design a face structure that has a maximum 3.2mm thickness at the center of the face then becoming progressively thinner (2.6mm) around the perimeter. This creates enhanced energy transfer to the ball through increased face deflection (ie. the rebound effect), creating optimal distance and trajectory in each driver and fairway wood. This design advancement is key to improving game performance for golfers of all skill levels. In addition, the Steel Plus heads are made with square face angles and a tungsten rear sole weight for an ease of playability that all golfers appreciate! Many customers have told us that this is the longest hitting steel head that they have ever used!!
